Deakin SPARK Renewable Energy Supply Chain Pre-Accelerator

Available to Deakin staff, students, researchers, alumni.

The program is a practical pre accelerator helping founders rapidly develop energy and supply chain solutions with expert mentoring and real world insight, this six month program supports early stage innovators through 12 structured sessions blending hands on learning, technical workshops, and guided venture development. Participants gain access to Deakin’s Future Economy Precinct and facilities such as ManuFutures, plus tailored 1:1 mentoring, industry touchpoints, and exposure to partners across renewable energy, battery technology, and supply chain innovation.

Across the cohort, founders work through ideation, product design, market pathways, verification planning, and pitch readiness, supported by expert facilitators and industry mentors. Each participant receives up to a $10,000 voucher to accelerate MVP development, with program costs offset through this allocation. The pre accelerator accommodates up to 10 founders per cohort and is delivered through hybrid practical and virtual sessions, enabling real world application alongside structured learning.
