Nominate Now for the Governor of Victoria Startup Awards

Nominations are now open for the Governor of Victoria Startup Awards, supported by Her Excellency Professor the Honourable Margaret Gardner AC, Governor of Victoria.

Now in its fourth year, the awards recognise the contributions of individuals and organisations shaping Victoria’s $130 billion startup ecosystem.

Public nominations are open for two categories:

1. Ecosystem Hero of the Year: Individuals with a demonstrated contribution to the development of the Victorian startup ecosystem that is above and beyond their current role
2. Investor of the Year: Must have made at least three early-stage investments (defined as being less than $7M) into a Victorian startup or scaleup in 2024

Last year HEX CEO and Co-Founder Jeanette Cheah was celebrated as Ecosystem Hero of the Year for her global advocacy of Victorian startups, while Jodie Imam and Rachel Yang were jointly recognised as Investor of the Year for their work activating capital for purpose-driven founders.

Nominations close at 10:00 am, Wednesday, 5 March 2025.
