Expressions of Interest Open for 30X30 2025 Announcements Last updated: Monday 23 September LaunchVic is seeking the next wave of Victorian unicorns for the 2025 intake of its 30X30 program. Led by mentors with experience at Uber, Atlassian, Safety Culture and Linktree, 30X30 selects up to 10 of Victoria’s most promising ventures to participate in a free executive education program focused on managing the challenges of fast growth. LaunchVic CEO Dr Kate Cornick said 30X30 was a prime opportunity to learn from the C-Suite talent behind the scenes of some Australia’s big tech success stories. “What makes the program particularly unique is its network of mentors who, throughout the program, are brought in to provide deep subject matter expertise,” she said. “This mentor network has lived and breathed many of the problems participating scaleups are trying to solve – so it can provide tangible solutions and shared experience.” The program has already run three highly successful cohorts, comprising 28 scaleup companies which have collectively raised more than $165 million since graduating. One example is Acusensus, an ASX-listed scaleup which has now inked contracts with four Australian state governments and generated $50 million revenue since being founded seven years ago. The company – which adds AI to road safety cameras to detect distracted drivers – is also increasing its international presence having signed contracts with customers in the UK and US. 30X30 gave the Acusensus team access to mentors from more mature businesses who helped the company workshop how to approach scaling its workforce, building a great culture and maintaining productivity during a period of significant growth. Managing Director and Founder, Alexander Jannink said hearing from startup leaders who had already faced these problems has been invaluable. “These mentors absolutely know what they’re talking about,” he said. “They say something and it sounds easy, but it would have taken me weeks to get to the same conclusion.” Expressions of interest are open until 1pm 21 October 2024.
