About the program
CDL is open to early-stage science and technology companies across the Asia-Pacific with differentiated, scalable, and defensible solutions. CDL-Melbourne runs three full-day, in-person objective-setting sessions in Melbourne and participates in an annual Super Session hosted in Toronto. The program includes:
1. Mentorship from accomplished entrepreneurs and investors:
Every 14 weeks, ventures meet with curated mentors to assess progress and set clear, short-term objectives. Mentors guide founders on strategy, prioritisation, and execution.
2. Opportunities to raise capital:
CDL Mentors include exited founders, angel investors, and venture capital partners. While funding is not guaranteed, investment often follows strong venture performance and milestone achievement throughout the program.
3. Technical feedback from world-leading experts:
Academic and industry experts from the broader CDL network advise founders on validating and advancing their core technologies, helping bridge the gap between science and commercial impact.
