StartNorth Migrant & Refugee Program
StartNorth is a coworking space powered by Hume City Council in Broadmeadows. Opening on the 28 October 2019, they will help startups and scaleups in Melbourne's north to succeed through business events with support from a passionate team.
StartNorth received funding through LaunchVic's tenth funding round to offer an accelerator program at StartNorth that will support up to 15 startup entrepreneurs from migrant and refugee backgrounds. Housed in one of Melbourne’s most diverse suburbs, the program will be delivered by ygap and tailored to the needs of this demographic. ygap’s First Gens accelerator program supports migrant and refugee-led ventures that are improving the lives of people living in disadvantage in Australia.
Visit the StartNorth website to find out how to get involved in the program.
