MedTech Actuator Origin

Origin is a two-month, pre-accelerator and innovation competition for idea- or early-stage health entrepreneurs and innovators, including researchers. The competition exposes participants to the startup ecosystem and teaches emerging founders about the ups and downs of launching a successful health venture.

Program Engagement

The program is made up of a series of pitch rounds and an intensive sprint, where entrepreneurs will pressure-test their ideas, learn the foundations of entrepreneurship, refine their pitching skills and develop an understanding of the commercialisation journey to successfully launch a health venture.

 Following a rapid– fire pitch round, participants will join MedTech Actuator in Melbourne for the intensive sprint and a sem-final pitch night. Three finalists will pitch to the community at the MedTech Actuator Showcase for a chance win a $15k equity-free cash prize, as well as $5k worth of in kind services and the opportunity to be fast tracked through to MedTech Actuator Accelerator.
