Barayamal Business Accelerator
Barayamal is Australia’s first Indigenous focused startup accelerator.
Funded through LaunchVic's seventh funding round, Barayamal is delivering a world-class accelerator program for innovative Aboriginal startups from Victoria. Underpinned by a deep understanding of the factors for successful global entrepreneurship, this program provides effective and culturally appropriate support, at each stage, from concept development to standalone businesses.
Barayamal supports Aboriginal startups and entrepreneurs through a pre-accelerator and a full accelerator program. Over the full program, startups rapidly develop their businesses and showcase their success at a national pitch night event in Melbourne. The program is facilitated by Indigenous people, providing essential education and training workshops, mentoring, early seed capital, working desk space and concludes with a demo day event.
