LaunchVic today announced the latest cohort for 30X30, its flagship program helping Victoria’s fastest-growing scaleups reach unicorn status—$1 billion+ valuation—by 2030.

The fully subsidised four-month program connects key staff with mentors from unicorn companies like Atlassian, Canva and SEEK, tackling common scaling challenges in HR, Operations and Finance.

LaunchVic CEO, Dr Kate Cornick said the latest cohort were selected for their impressive growth and commitment to upskilling key talent.

“This is a really exciting list of scaleups with strong unicorn potential, featuring a diverse range of industries like construction, healthcare, gaming, cyber security and hospitality,” she said.

“For this latest intake, the majority of referrals came directly from investors keen to support their portfolio companies, which we see as a significant vote of confidence from the sector.”

Minister for Economic Growth and Jobs Danny Pearson welcomed the new cohort, saying “Victoria has a thriving start-up sector and we’re helping these local entrepreneurs reach their full potential – creating highly skilled jobs and driving economic growth across the state.”

30X30 has become a mainstay of the Australian startup ecosystem for its unique focus on the HR, Finance and Operations functions key to sustainable growth.

Since its launch in February 2022, 30X30 has supported 28 scaleups across three cohorts. To date, the companies have collectively raised over $600 million (USD) in funding and expanded to global markets.
