Here are the winners of the CivVic Labs EnergyTech Challenge

Victorian startups FleetOPT, Solstice AI, Eli, and BATSafe Australia have each received $35,000 in additional funding to to power up their solutions after taking out the CivVic Labs EnergyTech Challenge.

  • FleetOPT is building a physics-based digital twin to optimise energy use and transport operations for electric fleets.
  • Solstice AI are using AI and satellite imagery to deliver short-term solar forecasts for solar farms, helping operators better manage generation.
  • Eli is a full-service home electrification platform that streamlines upgrades by coordinating homeowners and trades.
  • BATSafe Australia are developing tech to help Australians manage battery safety, reducing risk and building confidence in clean energy storage.
