MAP Velocity Program
Powered by the University of Melbourne, the Melbourne Accelerator Program (MAP) was launched in 2012 as the first University-aligned accelerator in Australia. One of three teams that make up the Melbourne Entrepreneurial Centre, MAP supports founders at all stages of the startup journey through its suite of programs and supporting activities.
MAP received LaunchVic funding to deliver the Velocity Program to help Startup Entrepreneurs speed up their search for problem-solution fit and discovery of first customers. The funding will allow MAP to increase its frequency of cohorts each year to focus on supporting early-stage technology-based Startup Entrepreneurs. The funding will also allow the adaption of the program to be delivered online, so Startup Entrepreneurs from across Victoria can get connected to MAP and participate in the Velocity Program.
The program will support up to 120 Startup Entrepreneurs through at least 4 cohorts over 2 years.
